Once the schematic design has been refined, o+a moves into design development. At this phase, the firm can graphically communicate with the Client by presenting 3-D studies of the building. Utilizing the latest design and drafting techniques, o+a can propose a variety of spatial solutions, incorporate a combination of building materials and recommend alternative energy systems. The primary objective is to find balance between the Client’s requirements and the Architect’s aesthetic character to create a solution that is not only practical but aesthetically unique.
